Where has Sol been?

Yolanda and I had a phone conversation this evening. She and Roger will be heading out to Santa Fe in the next few days to introduce people to the work and to do some Brain Integration Technique sessions. If you’re going to be in Santa Fe, or have a friend or loved one in the area who might be interested in the work, I’ll be hosting introductory events on April 7th and 8th. You can read about the events here, then contact me at sol dot lederman at gmail dot com for directions.

I’ve not been blogging here lately because I’ve been moving into a very deep level. I shared some of it in my post about frozen feelings thawing. I’ve been connecting with joy and sadness and grief and hope. Many of these old feelings have been buried for a really long time - I buried them to survive my childhood. Now that I’m in a stronger place and, now that I’m integrated, I can connect with my body sensations and go much much deeper. And, that’s what’s happening.

In our phone chat, Yolanda reminded me of what I already knew, that Brain Integration Technique addresses key brain things but it’s not the answer to everything. Yolanda explained that Brain Integration Technique provides a foundation from which I can process old emotional material that I couldn’t access before. Life doesn’t suddenly become magically perfect but it has changed in such a way that I can evolve much more quickly. I’m grateful for this new foundation, for this clearing of the blocks to feeling my body, and for the deep healing I’m moving into.

I got an inspiration a few weeks ago that I could become an ADD coach with a focus on helping people to get to the other side. I’m not drawn, right now, to being a Brain Integration Technique practitioner, so I would refer clients to certified practitioners. I don’t know of any ADD coaches who have such a focus, probably because almost none of them believe that ADD can be healed. Along with that inspiration came the message that I’m to move through the old emotional material first. Once I’m clear at both the cognitive and emotional levels then I’ll really be able to help kids and adults to get to the other side of ADD. The emotional component is a key part of become whole human beings, which Brain Integration Technique superbly supports.
