Dr. Pratt shares bits about BIT (Brain Integration Technique)

Dr. Shelese Pratt, Brain Integration Technique practitioner and trainer, was kind enough to take time out of her busy schedule this morning - she’s a naturopathic doctor - to talk with me about BIT.

Dr. Pratt just returned from Chicago where she and Susan McCrossin delivered the training that is a prerequisite to BIT.  Twenty two people were in that training. The work is growing. The work is spreading. Given that there are currently only fourteen Crossinology practitioners (plus Susan), twenty two is a huge number of potential new practitioners.

Dr. Pratt shared with me that her web site is being redesigned to support a blog that she has started, in which she will share testimonials. Also, Dr. Pratt has some articles that she’s written about Brain Integration Technique that will be posted on the new web-site. I’ll be sure to let readers know about her new site and blog once they’re up.

Also, Dr. Pratt and I discussed my interviewing her for this blog. Having known Susan for ten years, being a certified practitioner for two years, and now a trainer, I’m sure Dr. Pratt will have lots of great information and inspiration to share. It’ll be an audio interview. I’m excited about that and it will be a while before that happens.

A final, but important, note. Dr. Pratt explained to me that there is a program, in Australia, called LEAP (Learning Enhancement Advanced Program). It is, in fact, Brain Integration Technique which Dr. Charles Krebs and Susan McCrossin developed in Australia. This is an important point, not to detract from Susan’s excellent work in the U.S., but knowing that LEAP is the same as BIT allows people wanting to know more about BIT to research LEAP-related information as well. A Google search for the words LEAP and krebs, for example, yields 128,000 results. A search for the words mccrossin and krebs yields 531 results.

Now I’ve got my hands full with more research to do!

  1. Susan wrote many articles and information under LEAP. If you google Susan J McCrossin and LEAP you will find numerous articles to read. Susan is the only teacher in LEAP and BIT in the United States and UK. Anyone who is interested in getting Brain Integration, should check her website for her certified practitioners.

I am already learning a technique using accupressure and kinesiology for clearning allergies and intolerances, so I am reading about brain integration with great interest. However, I do have a concern that perhaps you can address. Required reading for taking the training was a book called “Vibrational Healing.” In reading a review of this book on Amazon, I found out that the author believes in astral channeling, reincarnation, Atlantis, etc. This type of new age religion is in violent opposition to my own Christian belief system. I have not found anything in Bioset (what I am now learning) that embraces these beliefs so am comfortable learning it. Can you share with me whether your session involved this type of new age philosophy? TIA

    Hi Kathleen,

There was no new age philosophy in my 16 hours of Brain Integration. There was lots and lots of muscle testing, acupressure, and other work related to things like completing circuits in my body. All of Susan’s work was developed and tested scientifically (with brain scans to verify increased flow of blood in parts of the brain.)

  4. Kathleen,
We require Vibrational Medicine because it is the best source of scientific information on vibrational/energetic medicine. Have you read Susan’s Book Breaking the Learning Barrier?
