Sol’s list of improvements from Brain Integration

I’ve been spreading the word about this blog and I’m starting to see some social networking traffic and visitors from other places. I welcome all of you who come from StumbleUpon, WildAboutMath, CastingOutNines, Curezone, HowHealthWorks, and other places. Thank you for visiting.

If you’re new to this blog I recommend that, after reading this post you read the Welcome post and then the About page.

I greatly appreciate Robert’s post about this blog on his Casting Out Nines blog.

If others of you feel inspired to blog about this blog I will be delighted to acknowledge you on this blog. And, I’d be happy to write guest posts on any of your blogs about Brain Integration. The potential for curing ADD and other learning challenges is a hot and controversial topic that your readers will probably enjoy.

I’ve been logging brain changes that I’ve noticed during the five weeks since I was integrated. You may enjoy reading some items from my list.

  1. I’ve had a handful of OCD (obsessive-compulsive) symptoms for many years. They’re things like needing to double- and triple-check that the stove is off, the water is off, the front door is locked, and the garage door is closed when I leave the house. That’s ALL GONE.
  2. I can now go to movies where people are whispering and other events where there’s a lot of background chatter and completely tune out the distractions. Noisy restaurants used to be very annoying but no more. I can be with bunches of kids who are running around and be relaxed aroud them.
  3. I can now remember where I parked my car if I give its location the slightest bit of attention when I park it.
  4. When people are anxious around me I no longer hook into their anxiety.
  5. I easily stay on task, even when doing things that are complex or require organization. I used to take long web surfing breaks to get things done. I don’t need stimulation anymore to stay on task.
  6. I can be aware of my thoughts and my body at the same time. This is a big one for someone like me who lived much of his life in his head.
  7. The mental chatter that runs around in my head does so at a much slower rate.
  8. I can sit still. I used to fidget A LOT.
  9. I can meditate and enjoy the experience.
  10. I’m keeping my house organized with much less effort than ever. Clutter is way down from a month ago.
  11. Decision-making is infinitely easier than it’s ever been. I don’t agonize when I need to make a decision. I don’t get into analysis paralysis.
  12. I’m able to easily stay on a healthy diet. No self-sabotaging behavior is kicking in.
  13. My self-confidence is infinitely greater. I’m not hooked into worries of other people approving of me or not.
  14. Overall worrying is down 95%.
  15. I’m much less self-conscious than I’ve ever been. I’m becoming “comfortable in my own skin.”
  16. My perception of colors is sharper.

Can you relate to any of the items on my list, either because you have the characteristic, or because maybe you once had it but don’t anymore?
