Welcome to the Brain Integration Blog. It’s all about correcting ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, and other brain challenges permanently and in a non-invasive way.
Please read the about page to get a little background in what this blog is about.
I was “integrated” between January 22nd and 24th of 2008. My integration took 16 hours. While I take some comfort in that 16 is my very favorite number, “average” people take 9 to 12 hours. Well, I guess I was never average! I drove from Santa Fe, NM to Grand Junction, CO for this integration with Yolanda Del Hierro Lange. Yolanda integrated me for 6 hours on each of the first two days then “finished me” with 4 hours the third day.
As soon as I returned home from my integration sessions I began taking notes of interesting little (and big) things I noticed changing in my brain functioning. Some are downright amazing. Others are very subtle (and amazing). I’ll be sharing the changes plus my thoughts and feelings about these changes in upcoming posts.
So, what is Brain Integration? It is a most wonderful union of a number of things:
- Accupressure and its related study of meridians
- Applied kinesiology, also known as muscle testing
- Detailed knowledge of the function of different parts of the brain
- Other technologies I don’t quite understand
Basically, the Brain Integration Technique (BIT) practitioner performs an assessment of how one’s “brain wiring” is causing problems then proceeds to correct the wiring to restore proper brain functioning. BIT is completely non-invasive and needs to be experienced only once. The changes persist unless the client experiences a brain injury.
Before you dismiss BIT as a crock of sh*t consider this: I’m a very logical and analytical person. I majored in Mathematics at Stanford and worked in the computer industry for 25 years, mostly in senior-level positions. I’m not an idiot. I’ve spent many years studying alternative healing modalities and I’m jaded enough that I don’t consider myself to be particularly gullible. I don’t go chasing healers. If the BIT results are just placebo effects then I’m quite impressed and I’m glad I paid for this placebo because I could not have wished these positive effects onto myself.
So, what have I noticed so far? Well, for one I can sit down for a couple of hours and register this domain name, create this blog, write an about page and this post without checking my email, fidgeting or taking hour-long breaks to surf the web. Before BIT I couldn’t sit still long enough to accomplish anything. Now I can - EVEN IF THE TASK IS BORING. Tasks that took me all day now take two or three focused hours. My attention is infinitely better than before, and my impulsive self-sabotaging behaviors are GONE.
There’s much more that I can and will write over time but here’s the gist of how BIT has changed my life:
My life is no longer run by the need to stimulate my brain.
What may not be apparent from the above statement is that BIT is about much much more than clearing ADD. I’m realizing that so much of the emotional crud that was spinning around in my head before BIT is settling down. My self-esteem is infinitely better than it has ever been and I find that I no longer get hooked into other people’s emotional states. Amazing stuff, let me tell you!
If you’re reading this far then I hope you stick around and share in this amazing journey that is unfolding.

Congratulations on your success with this technique! My daughter has dairy/casein allergy and is dealing with a lot of stress in school this year. Her main issue which I think is a side effect from the above is daily stomach aches/pain.
I live in Lynchburg, VA. Is this technique offered closer to my state?
Thank you
Nancy
P.S. I’m glad you found an answer to your issues. What a wonderful feeling that must be!
Nancy,
Thank you for the kind words.
There’s a brain integration practitioner in Chicago and one in North Carolina. If you end up traveling plan to allow up to three days for the work. If you do the work please check back in and tell me how it went.
Here’s a link to the list of certified practitioners:

I would also call the Crossinology office to make sure the list is current and that you’re not missing someone closer to you.
Brain Integration can also clear a number of allergies.
I wish your daughter the best on her healing journey whatever path inspires the two of you.
Nancy,
There is another BIT practionaire in North Carolina. She is located in Winston-Salem. Here is the web address to check out : brainquestforlearning.com. Lisa greatly helped my two sons. One son was helped with math and seasonal allergies. The other was helped with his lack of coordination.
